Soon-Hyung Yi is a professor in the Department of Child Development and Family Studies at Seoul National University (SNU) in Republic of Korea (South Korea).
She received her Ph.D. degree in child development and family studies from Seoul National University. She was a president of Korean Association of Child Studies and Korean Association of Human Development. Recently, she is a member of Research Institute of Human Ecology at SNU and also works as Head of the SNU Center for Child Educare Service and Research.
Her research interests are welfare policy for child and youth, social cognition, and child development and education.
