  I was born in August,1960. I had my B.A.(Hons) Education (Yoruba Language & Literature) in Ogun State University, now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, in 1989. I had my M.Ed (Language Education) in 1991 and Ph.D (Language Education)in 2004, in the University of Ibadan. I am currently a Lecturer I in Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria with specialisation in Language Education, Curriculum and Instruction.
