Simon Mhanna is a, Toronto based, multidisciplinary strategic designer and assistant professor with a hybrid profile and experience. After completing a BA in Design he obtained an MA in Media Studies with an emphasis on Advertising and an MSc in International Project Management with an emphasis on Branding. His focus revolved around using processes, research and insights to provide creative and strategic branding/communication solutions. In parallel, he taught various design, communications and advertising courses at universities both in Lebanon and in Qatar.
He has a particular interest in researching the design process as it qualifies as an essential tool toward change, cultural identities and narratives, among other topics.
He has published and presented his personal and collaborative research in several national and international conferences (Beirut, Doha, Brussels, Rome) and he has a broad experience in conducting workshops and moderating creative talks.
