  I am a Clinical Psychology Master’s student at Washburn University in Topeka, KS and an avid distance runner. I completed my first ultra-marathon, running 45 miles last spring. Because of my passion for running and the continuous support I receive, I began examining the characteristics of a runner’s exercise routine in relationship to the susceptibility of exercise dependence and alterations in social support.
