Shahla Wunderlich is currently Professor of Food and Nutrition at Montclair State University. Dr. Wunderlich has been coordinator of the Graduate Programs in Nutrition and Food Science at MSU for the last fifteen years and is currently serving as the department graduate advisor. She served as the chair of the Steering Committee on the Middle States Commission on Higher Education at MSU, which resulted to re-accreditation of the University for 10 year, in 2007. She led the efforts to establish the American Dietetic Association, Approved Pre-professional Practice Program (AP4), (now Dietetic Internship) at Montclair State University, an internship program required before the national ADA registration examination for Registered Dietitians.She has received several grants and published many scholarly articles. She is also a recipient of so many honors and awards. Her research interest is in the area of maternal, child nutrition, food safety, nutrition assessment and life cycle.
