Sam Cook – Hydrogeologist
Sam has been working as a hydrogeologist at Aquaterra for eight months gaining experience from involvement in a variety of groundwater projects. Sam graduated from the University of Western Australia with a BSc(Hons) in Natural Resource Management. As an undergraduate Sam’s experience includes water-quality monitoring instrumentation, groundwater resource evaluation, contamination evaluation and assessment and review of remediation plans. During his final year at the university Sam conducted a research project assessing the feasibility and adoption of deep open drainage as a method of groundwater and salinity management for rural landholders. The subsequent report was published in 2007 in The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences.
