After studying illustration at the University of the West of England, I worked as an editorial illustrator for publications including The Sunday Times, The Independent and The Mail on Sunday. A growing interest in the potential of the web led me to complete a postgraduate degree in Multimedia Arts at John Moores University, Liverpool, where I have lived for the last eleven years. Since then, my creative practice has focused on collaborative uses of digital technology. I currently lecture at the Northern School of Design at The University of Central Lancashire. In addition, I manage mintsource, a programme of informal activities for teenagers and young people, at the Whitworth Art Gallery at The University of Manchester. In 2009 I presented “Popped!”, a mintsource online project, at the Museums and the Web conference in Indianapolis, USA. I continue to work for organisations such as Bluecoat, FACT, Art Gene, Tate Liverpool, Cornerhouse and The National Football Museum.
