For more than thirty years, R. Terry Schnadelbach has been an internationally known landscape architect, urban designer, educator, author, historian and preservationist of the natural as well as the built landscape. He is a full tenured professor of landscape Architecture at the University of Florida and is the landscape architectural program director at the university’s Paris Research Center. He teaches landscape architectural theory and urban and landscape architectural design and has conducted study abroad semesters and tours in France, Italy and Spain as part of the college’s architectural programs. For his distinguished service, Professor Schnadelbach was awarded the President’s Professor Award 2002-2003 for High Productive Performance.
From 1969 until 1995, he was principal of several Schnadelbach firms with offices in New York and Paris. He has had major commissions throughout the United States, Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East and has consulted in London, Paris, Rome, Athens and Berlin to governments, institutions, and private industry.
Professor Schnadelbach is the author of several books and many publications.
