Ms. O'Connor received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Organizational Communication at Southeastern Louisiana University where she was a teaching and research assistant for the Department of Language and Communication from 2010-2011. Ms. O'Connor has served as a Middle East cultural consultant to several branches of the United States military in addition to several foreign government officials. She was awarded a fellowship with the U.S. Marine Corps University's History Department where she researched video gaming and recruitment practices by the military.
In October 2009, Ann was awarded the "Jefferson Award" for outstanding service to community for her active role in diversity training of United States troops.
From 1997-2000, Ms. O'Connor served as a consultant to the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices, Assir, Saudi Arabia, helping to resolve conflicts between the Arab community and Western workers living in the Assir region. She also worked with Rosewood Hotel system to welcome the first tourist group to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In addition, Ms. O'Connor served five years as a director for an acute care hospital in Saudi Arabia, and two years as the director of an environmental group in United Arab Emirates.
