Rebecca C. Harris, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Politics at Washington and Lee University (Lexington, VA) who studies policymaking on the frontiers of science and food politics. Her work includes Black Robes, White Coats: The Puzzle of Judicial Policymaking and Scientific Evidence (Rutgers University Press, 2008) and State Responses to Biotechnology (forthcoming in Politics and the Life Sciences, Cambridge Journals, 2015). Her current research uses political science to examine political trends in food politics. She teaches courses in American Government and Public Policy.
