Rachel Zuanon is coordinator, researcher and faculty member of the PhD and Master's Design Program at the Anhembi Morumbi University. Designer and Media Artist. Coordinator of the Sense Design Lab. Brazil leader in the research project "Tremors Time Interactive Convergent Project", focused on the development of innovative wearable interfaces for games held in international cooperation with OCAD University (Toronto), Xenophile Media (Toronto) and Zuannon Innovation by Design (Brazil) and supported by ISTP | FAPESP. Leader of the CNPq research group “Design: Creation, Language and Technology. CEO of the Zuannon Innovation by Design, a company deals with the development of projects and interactive technologies for physical and digital environments. Ad-hoc advisor to CAPES and FAPESP. Her wearable computers projects won the Rumos Artes Cibernética 2007 prize, they were a finalist in the FILE PRIX LUX 2010 and awarded an honorable mention from Rumos Itaú Pesquisa 2003. She received the APCA award in 2000, granted by Sao Paulo Association of Art Critics. Among her research issues are: design-neuroscience, wearable computing, affective computing, ubiquitous computing, brain-computer interfaces, neurophysiological interfaces, design for interactive and emergent medias.
