Is a Wongaibon man from far west NSW. His career has spanned a number of settings; including Aboriginal health services (both in the community and government sectors). In addition he has worked at the policy and clinical levels in nursing and in public health. In the private sector he has worked assisted Non-Government and Government organisations in business improvement, evaluation, survey design and health service planning. Ray is currently completing a PhD at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health (NCEPH) at The Australian National University. The focus of his research is identifying risky alcohol consumption, and the factors contributing, amongst the local Indigenous population.
