...MorePorchia Moore is a former English Professor Porchia Moore and Director of the Arizona Western College Creative Writing School. A graduate of the dual-enrollment Masters in English Literature program with the Citadel and The College of Charleston, Porchia is currently second year doctoral student, graduate assistant, and Teaching Assistant at the University of South Carolina School of Library and Information Science. She is dually enrolled in the Museum Management Certificate Program at the University of South Carolina's McMissick Museum. She is the recipient of the 21st Century Laura Bush grant and was awarded a Cultural Heritage Leadership Informatics fellowship. Research interests include: convergence of libraries, museums, and archives; the role of social media within art museums; and examining Cultural Heritage Institutions through the lens of Critical Race Theory.
