...MoreI am a Lecturer at the University of KwaZulu Natal. I lecture in IsiZulu as a second language, Phonetics, Phonology, Morphology, Syntax and Translation. I hold a Masters Degree in IsiZulu Linguistics and a second Honours Degree in Applied Linguistics. I am currently studying towards a PhD. My research is multidisciplinary - it covers Translation, Applied Linguistics and Literary studies. Also, having worked as a publisher for a number of international publishing companies, I have a vast experience in publishing. I am a published author of isiZulu children's books, textbooks and lately graded readers. My two graded readers' series (developed in isiZulu) were approved by the South African Department of Education and are currently used in schools nationwide. I have also translated into isiZulu a number of children's books written by South Korean authors. I enjoy writing children's stories.
