Paul Haywood is currently engageed in 3 major enterprise projects within the University all of which target regeneration in the city and social impact from citizen empowerment. The current projects are partnerships with communities seeking change in the local environment or social landscape. These initiatives cover a range of activities and contexts spanning open mutual community learning, citizen led cultural activism and hyper-local campaign advocacy. He continues to make work and projects as a professional artist. The longest running of his current obsessions is collaboration with Edinburgh based designer Maxine Kennedy. They have been analysing colour experience in specific landscapes for over 10 years and have completed a number of public art works that document the distinctive colours of places as socio-cultural geographies.
