...MoreI am currently a PhD student, in year 2 of a 3-year study funded by Health and Care Research Wales. I have ten-year experience working in hospital social work teams as a Social Worker and Senior Social Worker. MSc thesis involved a project looking at quality of life and the role of communal spaces in sheltered housing for older people. Previous research included working as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate (Healthcare Research); Working on a 3 year project between the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and Glyndwr University, Wrexham. Work involved the evaluation of existing models of research governance and the potential of new models to provide an integrated system that supports the management of new and existing research projects across primary and secondary care. Have also worked as a visiting university BSc. Social Work lecturer, focusing on critical practitioner and research modules.
