Originally from Mexico City, she is doing a PhD at City University London. Her research is about learning, education and dialogue in Mexican contemporary art museums, in order to develop audiences and their understanding of the artwork. She did her undergraduate in Economics (CIDE, Mexico City, 2002) and postgraduate in Visual Culture (University of Westminster, London, 2007). She has been awarded full scholarships to study abroad in Argentina (2001) and London (2006-2007 and 2008-2011). She presented conference papers at "The 11th International Conference on Knowledge, Culture and Change in Organisations" and "Rewire 2011: The Fourth International Conference on the Histories of Media Art, Science and Technology" (2011), "The Third International Conference on the Inclusive Museum", Common Ground and Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey (2010); "The Go Between", University of Glamorgan and National Museum Cardiff (2009); and "Inclusive Practice in Museums, Galleries and Archives: Audiences and Communities", University of Westminster, MLA London and Museum of London Docklands (2008). She participated in cultural economics and art markets research projects, and publications for UBS (2003), Mexican Arts Council (2005) and Kogan Page (2008). Her undergraduate thesis was awarded by HSBC Mexico (2003), a shorter version of this research was published in the most important Economics Journal in Mexico (2008).
