Paraskevi Botini has graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Athens. She has taught Modern Greek at the “European Educational Association” and Ancient Greek and Literature at a private school. She has been working as Research Associate at the Educational Technology department of ILSP since 1998. She has contributed to the design of various educational software such as “Ancient Greek Prose” (teaching of Ancient Greek in Lyceum), “The Greek language – the adventure of words” (diachronic and synchronic study of the Greek language in Gymnasium), “Seiries Thymissis: HERODOTUS, ANTHOLOGIO, HOMERIC EPICS” (teaching of Ancient Greek language and civilization in Gymnasium), “Nea logomatheia” (teaching of Modern Greek), “Ancient Greek with GSL” (teaching of Ancient Greek with the support of GSL), etc. The areas of her interest are educational technology, language teaching and ICT in education.
