Paulina Espinosa: studied architecture at the University of Concepcion (Chile) and earned a Master of Regional and Environmental Planning at the University of Zaragoza (Spain). Before engaging in doctoral research, she worked as a Researcher on the Renaissance, a Sustainable Urbanism European Union project. She is currently a PhD researcher at the Faculty of Engineering Science, Department of Architecture at the KU Leuven. Her aim is to look for innovative proposals of urban development in Chile - based on geographical context - investigating river restoration as a technique to work in urban space. Currently, Paulina is involved as an assistant for the undergraduate thesis students working on the River Restoration as an urban design strategy.
