Olivia C. Pipe is a graduate student currently pursuing her Master’s at Concordia University in Montreal. Her scholarly interests include explorations of feminist art post-1960s, community performance projects as well as representations of the diasporic self in contemporary art. Her thesis focuses on the relationship between the feminine, embodied self and language in relation to contemporary drawing practices.
Pipe has published essays in various academic settings. Recently, both her artwork and writing were published as part of a nation-wide project for the Canadian Heritage Information Network.
