Enthusiastic and committed researcher in the fields of cross-cultural communication, digital technologies and cultural diplomacy. Currently, Natalia is working on her Doctoral project, which encompasses new museology, cultural diplomacy, and social media. The research focuses on the use of social media in museums’ international outreach and diplomatic activities and explores how these online communication contributes to the official governmental efforts in cultural diplomacy of the nation states where museums operate.Natalia is a holder of several prestigious international academic awards including the Fulbright Scholarship (2007-2010), Quebec Fund Fellowship for Research on Society and Culture (2011-2013), Australian Endeavour Research Fellowship (2012-2013), and others. Her most recent publication, “Psychopower of Cultural Diplomacy in the Information Age,” published by the USC Center on Public Diplomacy, received Digital Humanities Award in the nomination “The best 2013 short publication.”
