Michelle Kameka, Ed.D, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Bachelors of Health Services Administration Program. She received her Ed.D in Organizational Leadership, Argosy University, Chicago, IL; her MPH, University of Illinois, Chicago, IL; and her B.S., University of Illinois, Urbana, IL. Her area of specialty includes being an educator; coordinating, planning, and implementing various health programs throughout community areas. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of health service administration working with the local, state, and federal government. Dr. Kameka’s research interest includes Sickle Cell Disease, Transitioning from Adolescence to Adulthood, and Health Education/Promotion. She is currently working on journal publications
and grant proposals to receive funding for research projects that help improve the lives of individuals living with sickle cell disease.
