...MoreI am interested in the theory and practice of architectural design and the relationships between architectural design and language, landscape, art, music and cinema. Current projects include a Design Lexicon (http://ensemble.va.com.au/ti/designlexicon/index.html); a monograph on the relationship between architecture and cinema, published in February 2010 (http://www.c-s-p.org/Flyers/Agencies-of-the-Frame--Tectonic-Strategies-in-Cinema-and-Architecture1-4438-1745-7.htm) and `Theorising the Project,' a text on the uses of theory in design (for publication in late 2010). I am also interested in indigenous concepts and practices of placemaking, having worked on several projects related to indigenous housing through HelathHabitat, and on several collaborative design and build cultural projects in the Western Desert and the Northern Territory of Australia.
