Michael Mitchell is a Certified Evaluator and Metaevaluator, obtaining his certification at the University of South Florida. He has performed numerous program evaluations and metaevaluations for various clients. He is also a National Board Certified High School teacher teaching biology, anatomy and physiology, marine science and computer technology at Florida SouthWestern Collegiate as well as an adjunct professor at Florida SouthWestern State College. His master’s degree is in Marine Science and he worked at the then Florida Marine Research Institute (now the Florida Wildlife Research Institute), helping to develop the statewide Fisheries Independent Monitoring Program. Michael Mitchell coauthored multiple peer-reviewed scientific articles in the marine fisheries field. He also was a computer consultant, building several commercially- used database programs and provided systems and network support to businesses. In addition to his teaching and consulting activities, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation at the University of South Florida.
