He has published fiction in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. His academic training was in law as well as in literature and he is currently researching the role of fictions and hypothesis in a range of professional areas and academic disciplines, with a view to re-configurng the role of Creative Writing in the university. He is currently completing a ficiton exporing Australian links to the Paris Commune of 1871.
