A practicing artist, researcher and an academic, I was awarded a PhD in Fine Art at the University of Brighton in 2010, where I lecture on the MA Fine Art programme. I have worked in education since 2004: as a gallery educator at Tate Britain until 2005 and at the Brunei Gallery in London in 2007.
My art practice engages with the social and cultural meanings of spaces constructed through both personal and global experiences. Recent exhibitions of my work are, 'Speculation and Spectacle' in Brooklyn, New York, 'Indian Summer' at the Hastings Museum and Art Gallery and 'From Shrine to Plinth' at the Croydon Clocktower in London.
