Born in Zaragoza (Spain) 1980. Eduardo Mayoral González graduated from the ETSA University of Seville (2004). He awarded the second prize for his Thesis Diploma in the Dragados Awards Competition (2005).
He holds an official Master in Sustainable City and Architecture from the IUCC, ETSA University of Seville (2008), a Master in Advanced Architecture from the IAAC, UPC in Barcelona (2008), and a Master in Advanced Architectural Design from the GSAPP, Columbia University in New York (2009). He also coursed the Advanced Architectural Research program at the GSAPP, Columbia University in New York (2010).
He is currently developing his PhD as a member of the researching group Out_Arquías at the ETSA University of Seville. His researching seeks for capital cross-breeding strategies and hybridization of living and non-living systems for design and production purposes, to erase the idea of waste, get added value, and produce a positive impact in the environment. In doing so, it brings life manipulation techniques from biotechnological fields into the architectural one.
Eduardo acquires his professional experience developing architectural projects and awarded competitions in MGM Architects, Sicilia & Partners, and SV60 Architecture. Regarding his own professional work, the most remarkable achievement is the International Competition of ideas for the Encarnación Square in Seville, awarded as a finalist, where he works as a member of the Composite group.
