Marco Castrignanò is Associated Professor at the Department of Sociology "Achille Ardigò", University of Bologna. He currently coordinates the Degree of Social Work at the same University. He is a Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Policies and his research interests concern urban studies, with particular attention to urban development dynamics, social structure of the city and urban inequality. He teaches “Methodology and technique of social research on territory” and “Development, territory and social research” at Bologna University. He is member since 2009 of Urban Orgs network of scholars independently doing research on formal organizations and inequality in urban contexts leaded by Prof. Mario Small University of Chicago.
