Marcelia Black obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from California State University, Fresno. She is currently in her second year of a Master's program in Social Work. Ms. Black has been working as a counselor in a substance abuse treatment program for 5 years. She was a recipient of a Graduate Research Assistant Award in 2010. Her research interest includes substance abuse, felons, social entrepreneurship and sustainable development.
