Margaret Lombe, Associate Professor Boston College School of Social Work. She is also a faculty associate at the Center for Social Development at Washington University in St. Louis. Her area of expertise is international social development with an emphasis on social inclusion/exclusion and capacity building. Lombe also specializes in methods for food security, livelihood and nutrition assessment along with evaluation of social programs and services. She has provided technical assistance and conducted evaluations for both governmental Non-Governmental Organizations including the State of Iowa, West Virginia as well as Catholic Relief Services, OXFAM America and OXFAM Great Britain. She has served as consultant to the United Nations (UNDESA & UNHABITAT) and has participated in a number of Experts Group Meetings (EGM) on inclusion/exclusion. Lombe is currently serving as a member of Policy Unit I, proving guidance to the United Nations on the HABITAT III agenda on inclusive cities.
