The pedagogical value of the rewriting activity lies in enabling students to improve their writings in terms of accuracy and appropriateness. In this respect, students should see this problem solving activity as something central to the writing process, a tool by which ideas are developed and refined and meaning is constructed, but not only as a last reading to see if a word was misspelled or a grammar point overlooked. In order to shed light on this issue, the present work intends to show the effect of a comprehensive teacher’s feedback with collaborative work on helping and motivating students to revise and rewrite in an accurate and appropriate way.
