My research project is focused on methods of assessment in nature science education and implementation of inquiry-based scientific approach (IBSE) into biology education (my dissertation project’s title: Assessment of inquiry-based scientific teaching in biology learning). I am interested in formative and summative assessment and its implementation into inquiry-based scientific teaching in nature sciences. In the frame of my dissertation project I monitor possibilities of the IBSE approach implementation into human physiology lessons, mainly practical lessons. I would like to enhance the quality of gained knowledge and skills (of human physiology topics) by using IBSE methods and use appropriate assessment methods during teaching.
