Lisa M. Graham, MFA, LEED AP, is a graphic designer, author, and Associate Professor of Visual Communication at the University of Texas at Arlington. She has exhibited her visual work in over 53 national and international exhibitions, and has produced visual communication industry work for a variety of regional, national, and international clients. Her publications include the books Basics of Design: Layout and Typography for Beginners 2e in English and Japanese (2005, 2008), Basics of Design: Layout and Typography for Beginners (2002), Principles of Interactive Design (1999), and numerous paper presentations and peer-reviewed journal articles on gestalt theory, experience design, sustainable design, environmental typography, and design ethics.
