  I began scientific, methodological and pedagogical work with students in 1996 at the University of Latvia, and since 2006 I continued the work at Rīga Stradiņš University. I am the Latvian Science Council's expert in psychology and senior researcher in National Research Programes, member of the board of Latvian Association of Psychologists. My scientific interests are social psychology, personality psychology, health psychology. I have participated in several EU-funded projects, have received grants financed by the Latvian Science Council, have been the leader and member of the organizing committee at more than 10 international scientific conferences, I am the author and co-author of more than 100 scientific publications, including the work as a scientific editor and editor of 15 collective monographs, collections of articles, and textbooks.
