...MoreMy dissertation, ‘Spectacular Manoeuvres: Explorations of Sexual Deviancy and Early Film in Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec’s Circus Drawings’ draws on psychology, technology, and the history of the circus in its analysis of Lautrec’s work. I am concurrently working a project about art produced during the May 1968 student demonstrations in Paris. My interest in French art extends from the eighteenth to twenty-first centuries. I will spend the fall of 2012 concentrating solely on my dissertation thanks to the Penn State Department of Art History Dissertation Fellowship. I plan to defend my dissertation in the spring of 2013. I have experience both working in museums and teaching courses. I am currently an adjunct professor at American InterContinental University.
