Dr. Kathryn Eason is Visiting Assistant Professor of Fashion Design and Merchandising at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. Her educations includes a B.S. in Apparel Merchandising from East Carolina University, a M.S. in Textile Design and Merchandising from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, and a Ph.D. in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. Her research is primarily focused on issues of identity development through the dress process and include a wide range of topical areas from the negotiation of regional identity through dress to dressed identity development in Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPGs).
