...MoreDr. Karen Ritzenhoff has been teaching media studies, film theory, courses in American cinema and women and film in a Department of Communication for twelve years. She is also co-coordinator of the strongly interdisciplinary Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies program at Central Connecticut State University, USA. Her research interests are in East German documentary traditions, analysis of narrative cinema, media literacy, contemporary visual languages in digital video editing. She has tried to bridge the gap between humanities and technology throughout her career.
