Jonathan Keir is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Tübingen's Global Ethic Institute. After a first degree in Philosophy and a PhD in Comparative Literature, Jonathan is currently engaged in research, teaching and public dialogue duties for the Global Ethic Institute at the University of Tübingen, Germany, established by Catholic theologian Hans Küng. The goal of the Global Ethic Project is to promote interreligious and intercultural dialogue with a view to establishing a bedrock of common values across national borders. Jonathan's current research project examines the compatibility of the Catholic Küng's 'Weltethos' with the New Confucian 'Tianxia' and Muslim 'Dar al-Islam' models for a Global Ethic.
