Professor, Research Studies and Social Analysis and Head, doctoral and Master's program in organizational leadership, School of Education and Human Development, College os Arts & Sciences, Shenandoah University, Winchester, Virginia, USA. Former Associate Dean for Graduate Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences. He has served on the graduate faculties of Norwich University (Vermont), Averett College (Virginia), the U.S. Army War College (Carlisle Barracks), and Wilmington College; he holds adjunct appointments on the social sciences faculties of Wilson and Hood colleges. His Ph.D. is in the anthropology of education; he holds Master’s degrees in counseling psychology and adult education, and an undergraduate degree in sociology and economics. Research interests: ethnic/gender/racial identity and its relationship to social conflict; research methodology and the philosophy of practice; learning environments and instructional efficacy; strategic planning and program assessment in higher education.
