Joshua DeSantis is an Assistant Professor of Education at York College of Pennsylvania where he teaches courses in education technology and curriculum development. His research interests include technology-supported teaching pedagogies and social studies education. He earned his B.A. in Social Studies Education and M.A. in Applied History at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and his D.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Before he began his higher education career he taught Social Studies at Susquenita Middle School near Harrisburg, PA.
