...MoreDr. John Derrick is currently a senior teacher at Victoria University in the Diploma of Nursing. He is a Registered Nurse, Division 1, and also currently working for the Royal District Nursing Service. He obtained a Bachelor of Nursing , Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. He has had over seventeen years experience as a nurse working in aged care, the acute hospital sector and in the community sector. He is currently responsible for coordinating four core units within the Diploma. Dr. Derrick also has a background in Fine Arts, and has obtained a Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts. His interests are practice-based learning, team-teaching, use of 3D digital environments.
