  Jeppe Emil Mogensen, b.1985, is educated architect (M.Sc. eng. in architecture) from Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology, Aalborg University in 2011. In his PhD project, “Smart Textiles in Future Hospitals”, he explores the architectural influence related to the interdisciplinary potentials and challenges in the planning and design phase of several new modern hospitals. The project specifically focuses on the development and application of new smart textile materials and explores how these materials will influence the experienced aesthetics of the hospital room, thus the patients’ general well-being in a textile supported physical environment related to the design concept healing architecture.
