My research interests span the interface between science and policy. I am interested in the processes that govern the exchange of information between the policy and scientific spheres and the ways in which such information is interpreted and used in the respective domains. I am particularly interested in tropospheric pollution issues and the mitigation and adaptation strategies available to manage such issues. Cities as specific sources of air pollutant and carbon emissions and the policies and strategies that may be used to manage these releases are a long standing and continuing area of research endeavour.
