I was born on 1972 in Muğla. I graduated from The Profession High School at 1989 in Milas and went to Ankara for my university education. I graduated from Gazi University Vocational Education Faculty Hand Arts Education Department Hand and Machine Embroidery Education Branch at 1993. After graduated, I began to post graduate education in the same part. My master thesis subject is ‘The specialty of counted thread stitches embroidery in Konya antique stores’. In 1994 I went Konya to become a research assistant in Selçuk University Vocational Education Faculty Hand Arts Education Department and continued my post graduate education at Art History Department in Selçuk University. My doctorate thesis subject is ‘Muğla Province Hand Work Embroiders (19th-20th Century)’. I have been working at the same work in Konya. My study areas are Turkish embroidery, Turkish motifs and ornaments, traditional hand crafts, folklore and art history.
