Graduated from the physics department of Tbilisi State University in 1982. During 1992-2009 worked at the Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature as a research scholar. Working on the History of New Georgian Literature, came to conclusion that it is impossible to answer the questions of the study less their consideration in terms of the relationships between traditional and modern societies, which, after all, ended with the shift of my scientific interests towards the humanities and social sciences, nationalism and globalization studies. Believing, there are not existed such problems we cannot solve, but we may not have enough knowledge them to be solved.
An author of more then 20 scientific papers; co-author of a book, together with G. Natadze, “The Syndrome of Self-Distraction” (2002).
Since 2005 have participated in conferences in Istanbul, New York, Paris (virtual presentation), St. Petersburg, Rabat on the themes of the humanities, nationalism and globalization, cultural studies, comparative literature.
