Dr Gang (Henry) Wu is a lecturer (or "assistant professor") in accounting at The University of Melbourne, Australia from 2008. He received his Bachelor of Management from Peking University in 2003 and his PhD from The University of Melbourne in 2008. Before his doctoral study, Henry gained research experience in both China and Singapore, and was a research assistant at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), a leading business school in the Asia-Pacific region. Henry served as a doctoral fellow at the 2006 AFAANZ Doctoral Consortium and a discussant at the 2006 AFAANZ Annual Conference (both in Wellington, New Zealand). His work has also appeared at The 3rd International Conference on Technology, Knowledge and Society (Cambridge University, UK), The 2007 UTS Summer Accounting Symposium (Sydney, Australia), The 2007 ANCAAR Audit Research Forum (ANU, Canberra, Australia), and The 2008 ANCAAR Audit Research Forum (ANU, Canberra, Australia). Henry has been involved with the publication and editing of teaching materials and case studies in Australia and China. He is an active member in teaching (both undergraduate and postgraduate), research collaboration and administrative responsibilities in his department and faculty. During his PhD research, he worked as an auditor and technical staff at Pitcher Partners (an independent member of Baker Tilly), Melbourne, Australia. His research interests include auditing, corporate governance, strategic management accounting, and business information systems.
