...MoreProfessor of History of European Art for the period 1750-1925, I’ve published books and articles on different aspects of Symbolism and Cubism. I've done a lot of research on art criticism and I'm especially interested in interdisciplinary topics, including relations between visual arts, literature and music. I’ve been working in close collaboration with art and history museums in France, Spain and China as a guest curator for temporary exhibitions. The most recent one, entitled "Avion, Aviateur, Aviation. Cent ans de fascination", was an exploration of how 20th Century artists were fascinated by aviation.
