Dr Francine Rochford belongs to the Bendigo campus of La Trobe University in Victoria, Australia, where she teaches in the Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Constitutional Law and Business Law subjects. Her research interests include the law and policy relating to rural water delivery, the law of education, and jurisprudence. Previous research relating to environmental law has considered the tortious liability of water supply authorities for contaminated water, the environmental and social impacts of water policy reform, constraints on adaptation to emerging water policy in regional communities, and policies of water allocation in Australia and the United States from a Constitutional perspective. In 2010 she is visiting Lewis and Clark Law School in Oregon.
