...MoreFlorence Mary Omboko was the Head of Department English at Loreto high school, a top girl’s school in Kenya for many years. She is a team leader in the Kenya National Examination Council English marking panel and a provincial drama adjudicator. Before joining AKUIED she was Deputy Principal at Gitithia High School, Kenya. She holds a B. Ed (Literature and Language) from Kenyatta University and a Diploma in Psychological Counseling from the Kenya Institute of Professional Counseling. She aspires to teach at an institution of higher learning and to pursue a PhD on completion of her M. Ed. Her research interest is on women and gender, especially with matters related to girls.
