Felipe Caldeira was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil then moved to New York City in 1993.He went on to high school in Chandler, Arizona then subsequently attended the University of Arizona in 2005 to pursue a career in the Health Sciences. He received his B.S. in Public Health in 2009 and began his Master's in Public Health Policy and Management that same year. He expects to graduate in May 2011. He currently works with the Udall Center for Public Policy as well as the US Geological Survey where he is working on investigating water quality issues on the border and how they affect local communities. Upon graduating, Felipe hopes to work for organizations to help create legislation that will bring about an end to health disparities and promote better health behaviors and lifestyles to all individuals.
